Anthony Gordon regrets his career with Everton has ended poorly. After he moved from Merseyside to Newcastle football in January.

Gordon rose through Everton’s academy at Finch Farm before making his first-team debut in 2020. And quickly becoming a bright prospect for the future.

However, the 22-year-old has begun to cut off his relationship with fans. After refusing to practice with the team before moving to St James’ Park for £40m. Which ended his career at Goodison Park.

Now, Gordon has revealed that although his journey with Everton ended badly. But the Merseyside club will always be in his heart.

“I think it’s very difficult. (that will come back to the minds of unhappy football fans) when things like that happen. It’s hard to recover. Especially because I’m from there. I grew up on those streets.

“Yes, it hurts me. I won’t lie to you.”

“I think I’m just a 22-year-old kid, I can’t handle life’s situations perfectly. But as a club with thousands of people working for them. I think the effort I gave them last year I played a big part in helping the team avoid relegation.
