Arsenal legend David Seaman has heaped praise on youngster Aaron Ramsdale for his outstanding form this season. That played a key role in leading the club to the Premier League title race.
Mikel Arteta’s side are five points ahead of reigning champions Manchester City after beating Bournemouth 3-2 on Saturday.
The Gunners, battling from 2-0 down. Came back to all three points at the Emirates Stadium thanks to an injury-time winner from Reiss Nelson UFABET
Seaman highlighted Ramsdale key contribution to keeping the Gunners in the game. As well as his overall performance during Arsenal’s impressive season.
“People forget he’s only 24 years old.” said the Arsenal legend.
“That was amazing for me. Because I didn’t come to Arsenal until I was 26. What he’s doing now at 24 is amazing.
“He makes important saves all the time. There was one time on Saturday when it was 1-0 and it was world class.
“It’s not like flying saves like that. But it’s a goalkeeper’s technique. Which he did brilliantly And he’s been doing that all season.
“Have confidence in him. And it’s calm confidence. Because in the goalkeeper position. You can’t act like you’re flying here and there. Keep ranting, even if Peter Schmeichel had a good career doing that.
“In my path completely different hair I’m a casual person and not being a rant all the time. So it’s a different approach and I think Aaron. He’s got a good mix. And it’s his own mix as well.”
